If your tip was via 1-800-222-TIPS, please call 1-805-388-5130 any Monday between 8 AM and 12 Noon with your tip number to determine if a reward was authorized. Wait 30 days after submitting the tip to call. If your tip was via the web or text message, we'll use the same mode to notify you if a reward was authorized or to follow up with any questions we might have. When communicating 2-way via the web or text message, your anonymity will not be compromised. Ventura County Crime Stoppers encourages members of the community to assist local law enforcement agencies in the fight against crime by overcoming the two key elements that inhibit community involvement: fear and apathy.
